subspecialty practice, our fellowship-trained surgeons focus exclusively on vitreoretinal disease,
ensuring your patients receive expert-level diagnostics and treatment. 

We are committed to prompt access, clear communication, and returning patients to your care
once retinal management is complete or stable. Your office staff is welcome to call and schedule
directly on behalf of any patient.

Urgent Referrals

For the following conditions, call (310) 269-8565 and select Option 2. This connects directly to our scheduling team, and the patient will be added same day.

When feasible, please keep the patient in your office during the triage call so we can coordinate immediate transfer of care.

After Hours

Routine Referrals

For non-urgent referrals such as stable NPDR, chronic floaters with reassuring exam, mild ERM, or monitoring referrals:

We will contact your patient within 2 business days and confirm the appointment with your office.

What to Include with Your Referral

Patient demographics, insurance information (copy of card if
available), referring provider name and fax, reason for referral with working diagnosis, urgency level, most recent chart note, and any relevant imaging (OCT, fundus photos, widefield, FA). Complete documentation helps us schedule faster and avoids repeat testing.
