Accessibility Statement

Last updated June 2026

Retina Vision Consultants is committed to making our website accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing process, and we are actively working to improve the experience for everyone who visits rvc360.com.

Our Commitment

We strive to provide a website experience that is consistent with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 as a reference standard. While we have not yet completed a formal third-party WCAG certification audit, accessibility has been a priority throughout the development of this site, and we continue to evaluate and improve it.

What We Have Done

During the design and development of this website, we addressed the following areas:

  • Semantic HTML structure — Pages use proper heading hierarchy and landmark regions to support screen reader navigation.
  • Image alternative text — Meaningful images include descriptive alt attributes; decorative images are marked appropriately.
  • Form labeling — Form fields are associated with visible labels to assist users who rely on assistive technologies.
  • Color contrast — Text and background color combinations have been reviewed with contrast in mind to support users with low vision.
  • Keyboard navigation — Interactive elements, including menus and accordions, are designed to be operable via keyboard.
  • Responsive design — The site adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels to support a range of devices and user preferences.
  • Accessibility testing — The site was evaluated using Lighthouse and manual review during development to identify and address common accessibility issues.

Known Limitations

Automated testing tools can identify many accessibility issues but cannot guarantee full WCAG compliance. A small number of areas — including certain third-party integrations and elements that depend on live content — may not yet meet every WCAG 2.1 AA success criterion. We are aware of these limitations and plan to conduct a comprehensive third-party accessibility audit as part of a future phase of site improvements.

Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility improvements are part of our ongoing development roadmap. We intend to:

  • Commission a formal third-party WCAG 2.1 AA audit and address the findings
  • Continue evaluating new content and features for accessibility at the time of publication
  • Update this statement as our compliance posture improves
